A poem about the quiet Love of God

Shown with his blessing
With a silence adored in heaven,
Though alien to planet earth,
The Word became flesh;
No sound accompanying this divine transition.
Radiant carols and narratives
Nobly attempt to bridge the chasm
Between the celestial silence
And the terrestrial appearance.
The heavenly realm rapture
In the silence of...
the Incarnation and Resurrection;
No mortal aware of the triumphant passage,
Acclamations and hosannas afterward prevailing.
For sound, the roaring of the mob...
in Pilate's hall,
The anguished cries at the crucifixion.
Shouting and tumult accompany mortal sin;
Silence abound in the unfurling love of God.
