Nancy E. Barnd was born on November 10, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to Elizabeth Reuter and John Reuter.

She graduated from Libbey High School in Toledo, Ohio in 1954.

Nancy married Daniel S. Barnd (Garden Wall Niche 21D). Their daughters are Betsy, Sue, and Tracy.

She worked at the Maumee Valley Newspaper starting in the late 1960's. Then she worked in the Sales Department at the Toledo Blade Newspaper until retiring in 1999.

Nancy was a member of the Maumee Elks and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Maumee, Ohio.

She volunteered at Paul's Peers Respite Care and the local Literacy Program.

Nancy was a recognized amateur artist.

Nancy died at the Elizabeth Scott Care Center on July 31, 2021 in Holland, Ohio.
