"A past member of St. Paul’s who passed away about 15 years ago. She was dedicated to singing in the choir. Nice to see her honored."
Jane Graham Weber, 3/13/2019
"Jane Forsyth, a Pleistocene and glacial geologist, was the first female professor of Geology at Bowling Green State University after working at ODNR for a decade. She gave exciting and enthusiastic lectures to students and the public alike throughout Ohio, even spending summers teaching glacial geology in Put-In-Bay, an area known for its glacial grooves. She contributed significantly to our knowledge about the age relationship of soils to northern Ohio glacial geology, with more than 100 publications to her name, and will always be remembered for popularizing geology and promoting conservation efforts in Ohio."
Ohio Department of Natural Resources, 3/12/2019
