Seven Days of Creation

In the Beginning,
When God created Heavens and Earth,
Earth was a formless Void,
And Darkness covered all.
(Beginning Dark Void)

God said, Let there be Light of Day
Against Darkness of Night.
There was evening and there was morning,
The FIRST Day.
(Light created first.)

God said, Let there be a dome of Sky
Separating what is above, from Waters below.
There was evening and there was morning,
The SECOND Day.
(Sky and Waters created second.)

God said, Let Waters gather in Seas
Leaving dry land Earth.
And let Earth put forth Plants yielding seed.
There was evening and there was morning,
The THIRD Day.
(Dry Land and Plants created third.)

God said, Let there be Lights in the dome of Sky.
One greater Light to separate and rule Day,
Lesser Lights to rule Night.
There was evening and there was morning,
The FOURTH Day.
