Eleanor was born on May 26,1926 to Edwin and Nora Hopkins in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania.

She graduated from Whitehall High School. She became a nurse. Then Eleanor worked at Tice Clinic and Quaker Hospital in Pennsylvania.

Eleanor married Murray Wilbur Stahl (Garden Wall Niche 25A) in August, 1946. Their children are Jeffrey, Pamela, and Timothy.

She served in the University of Toledo Faculty Wives' Club, University of Toledo Theater Entertainment Committee, Maumee Valley Hospital Guild, Medical College of Ohio Satellites, and the St. Vincent's Hospital Guild.

Eleanor was the proprietor of the Lady Madonna Maternity Boutique in Perrysburg and Ellie's Mother and Child in Sylvania, Ohio for more than 20 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Women's Council Secretary, Vestry Member, Altar Guild Member, and Rummage Sale Co-chairman.

Eleanor died on April 24, 2019 in Perrysburg, Ohio.
