Mary Helen Haddad was born in 1913 in Michigan to Zamrood 'Ezmeralda' and Shakhir Gahreeb 'John' Damoose. Her siblings are Naseeb G. Damoose, George Gahreeb Damoose, Kathryn Schooley, and Michel T. Damoose.

Mary Helen married George A. Haddad in 1947. They briefly lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she was raised and then moved back to George's hometown of Toledo, Ohio. Their sons are Randolph C. Haddad and Rick C. Haddad.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio for 2 years and then Parkview Hospital in Toledo, Ohio for 12 years. She retired in April of 1976.

Mary Helen and George resided in Maumee, Ohio. She helped establish the Saving Stamp Program in Maumee, Ohio Schools in 1954.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio.

Mary Helen died at Toledo Hospital on August 18, 1976 in Toledo, Ohio.

George A. Haddad was born on October 16, 1916 in Toledo, Ohio to Sadie and Assad Haddad. His siblings are Czar Haddad, Margaret Joseph, Frieda Kinzel, Fred Haddad, and 2 others. He was the youngest and they all grew up in North Toledo.

George married Mary Helen Damoose in 1947. They briefly lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she was raised and then moved back to Toledo. Their sons are Randolph C. Haddad and Rick C. Haddad.

George was recognized as an artist by the Toledo Blade newspaper when he was 11 years old for his drawing of the University of Toledo's Bell Tower. After graduating from college he worked in a number of family businesses until he enlisted for military service during World War II. He was partially blinded during his military service overseas.

George was discharged from military service and he returned to Toledo to pursue a career in art. He was a Commercial Artist at the Telenious/Randolph Company for 28 years.

George was a 59 year resident of Maumee, Ohio. He was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Faternity and the My Friends Club of Toledo. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Maumee for over 60 years. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

George was first a member of St. George's Orthodox Church in Toledo. He became an Episcopalian in 1965 joining St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio.

George died at St. Luke's Hospital on March 5, 2013 in Maumee, Ohio.
