Mary Jean Green was born on March 14, 1928 in Sylvania, Ohio to Jenny and Russel MacKenzie. Her siblings are Arthur MacKenzie, Dorothy Price, Russell MacKenzie, and Ralph MacKenzie.

Mary attended the University of Toledo.

She first married Walter Edwards, the owner of the Day-Edwards Mortuary. Their children are Wally Edwards and Shari Stengle.

Mary later married Maurice Earle Green. Her step children are Jan Green, Neil Green, and Bethany Hand.

Mary was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, Panhelenic Council, University of Toledo Alumni Association, Toledo Yacht Club, Maumee Yacht Club, Brandywine Country Club in Maumee, Epicurean Club, the Ohio Eastern Star, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio.

Mary died at the Heartland of Browning Care Center on May 13, 2004 in Waterville, Ohio.

Maurice Earle 'Maury' Green was born on November 26, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to Ella May and Frank Green.

He attended the University of Toledo.

Maury served in the United States Navy aboard the USCGC Tupelo in the Pacific during World War II. He participated in the Honor Flight to Washington, DC program.

The United States Coast Guard Ship 'Tupelo' was a 180 foot Buoy Tender refitted as a United States Navy Damage Control ship in 1943. She proceeded to Guam in 1944 and towed the hulk of United States Ship 'Oregon' Dynamite Barge the last 100 miles to Guam during the United States' invasion of Guam. From 1944 to 1946 in the vicinity of Guam, she assisted in establishing and maintaining the massive moorings required for large United States Navy ships, set buoys around minefields, transported dynamite, and maintained aids to navigation. After the war, on July 1, 1946 the 'Tupelo' was reassigned to Toledo, Ohio.

The children of Maury's first marriage are Jan Green, Neil Green and Bethany Hand. Later Maury married Mary Jean McKenzie. The children of Mary's prior marriage to Walter Edwards are Wally Edwards and Shari Stengle.

Maury worked at Libbey Owens Ford doing various jobs including Crane Operator.

He was a Cub Master in the Cub Scouts of America.

Maury resided in Waterville, Ohio. He was a social member of the Brandywine Country Club in Maumee, Ohio for 20 years. He was a member of the Epicurean Club, the Rubicon Masonic Lodge #237 in Waterville, Ohio, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio.

Maury died at the Heartland of Waterville on December 30, 2013 in Waterville, Ohio.
