Susan 'Susie' Cohen was born on April 18, 1948(?) to June Cartwright (Garden Wall Niche 5A) and Jack Cartwright. Her sister is Patricia Garver (Garden Wall Niche 5C).

Susan married Frederic Cohen around 1990. Their sons are Michael Cohen and Mark Cohen.

Susan is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio serving on the Altar Guild and in the kitchen.

Frederic 'Fred' Cohen was born on August 23, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Rose Blan and Alex Cohen. His sister is Susann Greenberg.

Fred graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1953. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1958 with a Bachelor's of Education degree.

Frederic first married Lois Ann Golob on June 2, 1957 in Lucas County, Ohio.

Fred started working for Toledo Public Schools in 1958 at Hamilton/Leverette teaching Social Studies and Physical Education. He had a 35 year career in Education.

Fred was a basketball coach from 1958 to 1967. His record breaking team had 125 wins and only 5 losses with 71 consecutive wins. He also coached women’s volleyball and track at Woodward High School for six years.

Fred served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 3 years.

Fred played All-Star Softball and was in the first game 'under the lights' at the Lucas County Recreation Center in 1969. He also umpired baseball.

Frederic married his second wife, Susan (Cartwright) Fravel, around 1990. Their sons are Michael Cohen and Mark Cohen. His stepdaughters are Renee Fravel-Simon and Jackie White.

He was honored for his contribution to the community at the 2004 Stickney Reunion. Fred was inducted into the Toledo Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.

Fred died under hospice care at the Kingston of Sylvania on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in Sylvania, Ohio. His wife, Susan, was at his side.
